Named after the notoriously steep and demanding trail up the north side of Mount Mansfield, our Hell Brook Hoodie is built for performance. The lightweight Polartec® Power Wool™ features a next-to-skin Merino grid that is incredible for temperature regulation and moisture control during high-output activities. With layered construction, the quick-dry polyester outer offers durability showcasing the benefits of both natural and synthetic fibers. Perfect for warm days, cold weather exercise, and everything in between, you’ll get caught wearing this baselayer around the house not wanting to take it off.
Note: For a true baselayer fit, we recommend selecting one size smaller than your normal size. If you'd like a versatile base or midlayer fit, select your usual size.

Hell Brook Sizing

Super soft and confortable, I just love it. Too bad for me I ordered a size up instead of smaller and it is too big for me. I still wear it because it is so comfortable, breathable, light and soft.
This merino wool hoodie is the best! It’s what I grab for everything. It’s light weight and warm but not at all bulky, soft and breathable, and minimalist design — so versatile. Perfect!
Amazing breathable fabric that is super soft and very comfortable on the skin! I'm 5'3" & 140lbs with an athletic build. I normally wear a size 4/Small... Ordered a size 4 to wear as a base layer touring, a perfect fit! But now as weather warms up and nights are cool, I wish I'd sized up to a size 6 for a more casual fit to wear as a light post activity layer. Guess I need another piece from Thuja!
Feedback: Wishing for a stretchy waist hem and a slightly cropped fit for casual wear of this lovely wool fabric!
I'll forsure be a returning customer.
Cheers!
I recently wore it running in 12 degree weather and needed no additional layers, amazing. And then two days later I wore it for an above-freezing backcountry ski tour (also comfortable in those temps) and the rest of the day at the office too. Gotta love wool! It seems like a really wonderful piece.
